Native American Arapaho Beaded Pipe Bag
BEADED PIPE BAG, MUSEUM REPLICA QUALITY
This Pipe Bag is a great example of Plains Indian style bead work and craftsmanship.
It measures 20" long with 3 tabs at the bottom that are 4" long. There is beading down each tab in bright and colorful seed beads of green, red, blue, and white. Both sides of the pipe bag are identitical and have cones with dyed red horse hair.
The front has a quilled wrapped dangle in dyed colors of orange and yellow with tin cones and horse hair at the ends. At the bottom of the bag is a 2" band of beading with white,navy, blue, and red seed beads, in Traditional Native American geometrical designs.
This is a replica bag and is distressed to look old, there is a stain on it also. It is a wonderful piece to display and own as part of your Plains Indian Collection. Non-Indian made.
