The narrative artwork style depicted here is a contemporary adaption of ledger art, a term coined from accounting ledger books, which provided a source of paper in the late 19th century. The geometric hourglass border is a Crow Family design from Irene Not Afraid Yellowtail and was the design inspiration behind B.Yellowtail's founding aesthetic.
